I’m thrilled to invite you to join me for a special Drum Making Workshop. As an Apache, Comanche/Inca Native from Southern New Mexico, I've been crafting drums since 1987 and am honored to be considered a Master Drum Maker. My passion extends beyond drum making, as I also lead Drumming Circles, Moon Lodge Circles, Sound Healing sessions, and Dream Journeys. With three Nammy/Grammy awards, an International Book Award and international performances under my belt, I can't wait to share this experience with you.
Saturday, July 18th from 9:00am to 1:00pm
We’ll begin with a sacred ceremony where I will smudge everyone and open our circle with a prayer. I'll introduce myself, sharing my journey and the powerful significance of the Drum.
I'll craft a demonstration drum to give you a solid foundation, and then, with my guidance, you will create your own drum. This process is not just about making an instrument; it's about connecting with our heritage and embracing the power of the Drum.
Sunday, July 19th from 1:00pm to 3:00pm
On Sunday, we'll gather for a Drumming Circle to Birth the Drums. This will be the first time you will hear your Drum's voice. It's a profound moment that participants always cherish.
We'll close our circle with a prayer together, leaving you feeling elated, empowered, and enlightened.

Provided Materials: Hide, Hoop, Sinew, Leather, and a Beater.
